DEBrowser Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DEBrowser collects and uses information when you use the Service.

1. Information we collect

We may collect:

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service, including troubleshooting, analytics, and abuse prevention.

3. AI and third-party providers

When you enable optional AI-provider features (such as result-interpretation assistants), your prompts, selected analysis context, and outputs may be processed by the provider you select (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic). Provider data-handling is governed by the provider's own terms and privacy policy.

4. Data retention

We retain account data and uploaded analyses for as long as your account exists or as needed to meet legal and operational requirements. You may delete your account at any time, which deletes your uploaded data and bookmarks.

5. Security

We use reasonable safeguards (password hashing via libsodium argon2id, HTTPS in production deployments, scoped session tokens). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to the data you submit, for de-identifying human-subject data where applicable, and for maintaining backups of important results.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates means acceptance.
